My Top Five Favorite Podcasts

With the academic year starting soon (too soon!), it’s time to learn something new. One of my favorite ways to learn is by listening to a podcast. I’ve got a few favorites lined up (more on that below!), but I’m also curious to discover some hidden gems.

Listening To Music On The Beach

Here are my top picks right now:

  1. The Peter Attia Drive is a deep-dive podcast focusing on maximizing longevity, and all that goes into that, from physical to cognitive to emotional health. With over 90 million episodes downloaded, it features topics including exercise, nutritional biochemistry, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, mental health, and much more. My favorite episode is Longevity 101: a foundational guide to Peter’s frameworks for longevity, and understanding CVD, cancer, neurodegenerative disease, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and more.

  2. The Tim Ferriss Show deconstructs world-class performers from eclectic areas (investing, sports, business, art, etc.) to extract the tactics, tools, and routines you can use. This includes favorite books, morning routines, exercise habits, time-management tricks, and much more.

  3. Tara Brach, Ph.D is an internationally known meditation teacher and author of best-selling books Radical Acceptance, True Refuge, and Radical Compassion. Tara shares a weekly guided meditation and talk that addresses the value of mindfulness meditation and self-compassion in relieving emotional suffering, serving spiritual awakening and bringing healing to our world.

  4. On Unlocking Us with Brené Brown shares conversations that unlock the deeply human part of who we are, so that we can live, love, parent, and lead with a whole heart.

  5. The Primal Kitchen Podcast is hosted by founders Mark Sisson and Morgan Zanotti. Every week, they sit down with the biggest names in the health, wellness, and personal growth space.
